1/4/2008 Texas alumni to host camp on January 26 University of Texas National Champs Alumni Clinic Returns to The Dell Diamond ROUND ROCK – For the second straight year, former University of Texas baseball players will be conducting a youth baseball clinic at The Dell Diamond on behalf of the YMCA of Greater Williamson County. The second annual National Champs Alumni Clinic, which is open to 1st – 8th grade boys and girls, will be held on Saturday, January 26 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the Round Rock Express, Village Inn Restaurants and Document Engine. Registration, which includes a clinic T-shirt and a Longhorns baseball cap, is $40 per child for YMCA Family Members and $65 per child for non-members. Financial assistance is available. Those interested in signing up can do so at any one of the three YMCA branches throughout Williamson County (Round Rock: 246-9622; Twin Lakes (Cedar Park): 250-9622; Taylor: 365-9622) between January 5 and January 25. All proceeds from the event benefit the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign, which allows people of all ages to participate in YMCA programs if they cannot do so due to financial reasons.
